FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be able to have some laundry done at the hotels, and get it back next day?
Probably not, as we move on everyday. So we would recommend taking enough clothes for the whole week. Anyway luggage will be carried in the support vehicles.

How do you organize the participants' luggage transport?
The luggage vehicle will collect luggage in the morning, and deliver it to the next hotel before we arrive. Participants are responsible for bringing their luggage to the vehicle when they go down to breakfast. The drivers will take your luggage and put it into the truck. When all luggage has been loaded, he will drive to the next destination and wait until we arrive. Everyone will collect their own luggage and bring it to the room. Everyday we do the same process.

What about the support vehicle, does it follows the cyclists?
The support vehicle will usually be closing the convoy, driving behind the last cyclist. So if there are any problems, just stop and wait for this vehicle. But all will be well explained on the first arrival dinner.

How much more money should I have for other spending during the tour?
- Beverage money. Beverages in hotels and local restaurants are not included.
- Personal spending as souvenirs, charity merchandise for sale. etc.
We think roughly one hundred dollars will be sufficient, and more if you drink booze.

Do we need to bring our own bike?
For those who wish to bring their own bicycle (mountain-bike only) you are welcome to do so. Otherwise, the organizer is providing the bikes for the challenge.
